A superb wooden printing block (565 mm long, between 130 and 190 mm high, and 22 mm deep). We know nothing definite about it, but presume it to be of Australian origin, possibly from the turn of the century before last ...

The imagery suggests pantomime - perhaps it was artwork for a poster - but any attempt at description falls far short of the boldly carved object itself.
