[Tennis]

A vintage gelatin silver photograph (approximately 150 x 200 mm) of a group of adult male tennis players

The surface of the photograph is slightly scuffed, but otherwise it is in excellent condition. The original contrasting-colour double mount is a little foxed in the light-coloured panel adjacent to the image, and the main board is a little worn at the corners and lightly tidemarked along the bottom edge. Undated, but probably 1900 give-or-take; the photographer, individuals depicted and the location are unidentified, but it is probably 'somewhere in South Australia'. We'll let the subject - uncommon enough in our experience - and the image speak for themselves.
