A pamphlet with the same title but containing a different selection of material was published twelve months earlier (with a second printing of 2000 copies also called for). This second selection includes articles on various aspects of animal husbandry, as well as vines, wattle bark, blacksmithing, charcoal, sparrow poisoning and potato growing - with as much space devoted to roses as to any topic.
