A small broadside (295 × 210 mm) limited to 500 numbered copies, signed by Stoppard, of an extract from his play of the same name published by Faber in 1982. It is a monologue on the construction of a cricket bat. 'Henry: (holding his cricket bat). This thing here, which looks like a wooden club, is actually several pieces of particular wood cunningly put together in a certain way so that the whole thing is sprung, like a dance floor ...'.
