WILLIAMS, Mary

The Blue Gazinta

Adelaide, Economy Press [for the Author], [circa 1944].

Octavo, 19 pages.

Saddle-stapled pictorial card covers; a little tanned and creased; a few other minor signs of age and handling; an excellent copy.

Inscribed and signed by the author in pencil on the title page 'Best wishes | Mary Williams '44'. This selection of verse for children includes poems first published in 'Comment' and 'Meanjin'. The introduction suggests that the 'Blue Gazinta' on the cover was designed by George Dabovich.
