[The Odyssey] [Omerou Odysseia]. Homeri Odyssea; id est, de Rebus ab Vlysse gestis, unà cum Batrachomyomachia, Hymnis, & Epigrammatis
[Geneva], Apud Iohannem Vignon, 1609 (first thus).
Sextodecimo, [xvi], 447 pages.
Later (early 18th century) full calf; title-label on spine lettered by hand 'Homeri Odyssea Gr'; edges sprinkled red; some loss about the top edge of the final gathering, with an old restoration and a small number of lines of missing text supplied in manuscript; running titles and pagination occasionally shaved; some marks, worm tracks and other signs of age and handling; a good copy.
This standalone pocket edition of the 'Odyssey', in Greek, is not to be confused with Jean Vignon's more common edition with parallel Latin translation, issued the same year. With the ownership details 'A.B. | 1722' and shelf mark in ink on the front free endpaper.
