An account of Cecil Madigan's expedition to The Granites, 380 miles north-west of Alice Springs, which put paid to a goldrush (the 'tragedy' of the title). Provenance: Dick Kimber (Richard Glyn Kimber AM, 1939-2024), Centralian author and historian, with his neat ownership signature on the front free endpaper.
