Colour-pictorial tan cloth; covers very slightly rubbed and a trifle darker on the spine; plates and adjacent leaves a little tanned; free endpapers browned; an excellent copy.
A very bright copy of Wodehouse's rare eighth book. 'A sequel to "The Gold Bat", and the best novel of school life, with characters fully drawn' (Jasen, page 26). This copy is from the second issue, bound from the first edition sheets and differing only in the inclusion of the publisher's catalogue 'Beautiful Books for Young People', which lists later titles including 'Mike', published in 1909.
