Colour-pictorial red cloth very lightly marked and rubbed; half-title and title page a little tanned; acidic tissue-guard heavily tanned; final leaf of advertisements lacking; otherwise an excellent copy.
Wodehouse's sixth book in attractive unfaded condition. This third issue differs only by the inclusion of the publisher's catalogue 'Beautiful Books for Young People' at the rear: the missing leaf included the list of other Wodehouse titles then available. The story was originally serialised in 'The Captain: A Magazine for Boys and "Old Boys"' between October 1904 and March 1905.
