Pictorial cloth slightly sunned, bumped and a little waterstained (at the foot of the front cover); bottom edge lightly stained pink (where the dye from the red cloth has run, impacting on the bottom margin of, and a small portion of the text on, the last ten leaves and the last plate); overall, a very acceptable copy.
The title page is signed in ink 'Stanley Vincent Hammond 7.7.37' (7/1241 Trooper Stanley Vincent Hammond of the Canterbury Mounted Rifles). Dornbusch NZ 198.
