Number 127 of 1000 copies signed by the artist (who died in the year of publication). This copy is also signed and dated by Wing Commander Robert 'Bobby' Gibbes, DSO, DFC and bar ('Bobby Gibbes 19/5/2000') on page 43, above the artwork depicting one of his exploits. Three wartime portrait photographs and a short biography are on the facing page. Loosely inserted are numerous pieces of related ephemera, including two newspaper cuttings about the event where this book was signed by Gibbes. One of the other pilots featured in the book is Warrant Officer Leonard Victor Waters, the only Indigenous Australian pilot to serve in the RAAF (see pages 78-79).
