The short preface to the second edition, dated July 1962, states in part that 'the necessity of reprinting these volumes so soon after their first appearance gives me the opportunity to make a few corrections; and, as the fruit of a visit to the Henry E. Huntington Library, San Marino, California, to add a little to the history of the Banks papers' (page x). [2 items].
