Stapled title-wrappers, with the front cover now expertly reattached; staples a little rusty; minor chips to the spine; corners of some leaves a little rounded off; a few light stains to the wrappers; light vertical crease to the entire pamphlet; mild signs of age and use; overall, a very good copy.

'In the case which has now occupied your patient attention for a period of forty days or more I have appeared in a two-fold capacity. I have had to defend the rights of Major Kemp and the Muaupoko tribe in the Horowhenua Block, whilst, at the same time, I have had to vindicate my own professional character' (page [3]).
