Cyaniding for Gold. A Complete, Simple, and Detailed Account of the Process written especially for the Working Miner and the Small Syndicate
Sydney, Angus and Robertson, 1939 (first edition).
Octavo, xii, 270 pages with numerous illustrations (from drawings and photographs) plus 3 folding tables and a folding plan; the foreword leaf (verso blank) is a cancel.
Orange cloth lettered in black on the spine and front cover; top and bottom edges of the rear board lightly bumped, with a tiny inkspot on the bottom turnover; contemporary gift inscription ('To dearest Dorrie | With fondest love. | Angas. | 28/10/41') on the title page; small, faint smudges to a few pages (a trifling production flaw); a near-fine copy with the near-fine unclipped dustwrapper (lightly sunned, rubbed and slightly creased along the rear top edge).
A scarce title, rarely found in this condition. Feain and Aroney record a print-run of 1500 copies (but they misread the 10/- price printed on the dustwrapper as 10/7, and fail to include the 12 pages of preliminaries in the pagination).
