Octavo, xx, 212 pages plus 23 leaves of plates (most full-page), 3 maps (2 folding) and a printed note (explaining that red triangles on the maps show YMCA centres) tipped in.
Green cloth lettered in gilt; covers very slightly flecked, bumped and rubbed; edges and preliminaries a little foxed; endpapers discoloured; a very good copy.
Provenance: South Australian ornithologist and conservationist Captain Samuel Albert White (1870-1954). Loosely inserted is a typed note signed by the author dated September 1924 reading: 'Dear Captain White, Will you do me the honour of accepting some works I have published. Faithfully yours, J.W. Barrett'. An additional note in White's hand states 'Recvd 6 Vols'. Not in Dornbusch; not in Fielding and O'Neill.
