Loosely inserted is a 16-page pamphlet about the castle (slightly creased), and a postcard of the castle.

Inscribed in ink on the front free endpaper; 'From | Michael | XXI hereditary Captain | & Thane Dunstaffnage'. In 1958, Michael John Eadon Campbell, 21st hereditary Captain of Dunstaffnage, together with the then Duke of Argyll, 'agreed to hand the castle into state care, and it remains a Historic Scotland property' ('The Peerage', and 'Stewart Society' websites).
