Early polished calf recornered and unsympathetically rebacked with a contrasting gilt-lettered title-label; old leather scuffed and marked, with a small inlaid patch at the rear; later spine a little sunned; top edge darkened, others slightly marked; folding map a little creased where refolded; minimal signs of age and use; a very good copy (internally excellent).
