Pictorial papered boards; all edges uncut (top edge foxed); a near-fine copy with the rare printed cellophane dustwrapper with printed paper flaps (both materials a little cockled, with slight loss to the cellophane near the bottom corners). The front panel of the dustwrapper is printed in white with the words 'and Divorce' in the bottom right-hand corner, with the white outline of a (divorce court) judge on the left.
The cover and dustwrapper design are by Leonard Beaumont. Ambrose Hoopington is the pseudonym of English barrister Cecil Binney (1897-1966); Herbert Jenkins published his 'The Divorce Court' in 1957 under his real name.
