Bumpus Ltd; marbled sides ruled in gilt; spines gilt in compartments, with gilt-tooled hunting motifs and raised bands; all edges gilt; spines lightly faded; a few corner-tips slightly worn; minimal signs of age and use; an extremely attractive group in excellent condition.
Each volume bears the impressive armorial bookplate of English banker Frank Cyril Tiarks (1874-1952), sometime director of the Bank of England (1912-1945) and High Sheriff of Kent (1927). [6 items].
