London, The Folio Society, 2003 [first thus].

Tall octavo, three volumes, xiv, 1430 pages with 3 full-page maps.

Quarter leather lettered in gilt and pictorial papered boards; a fine set in the slightly rubbed matching slipcase.

'The text reproduce here is that of the Alecto Historical Editions translation of both "Great" and "Little Domesday" published with the facsimile in individual county volumes and also in complete sets for the whole of Domesday England. The Alecto translation of "Great Domesday", while based on the "Victoria History of the Counties of England" translation, is a much overhauled and improved version - inconsistencies have been removed, the treatment of names standardized and out-of-date words replaced. New texts were commissioned for the Little Domesday counties ... we have not included the Marginalia of Domesday' (textual note). [3 items].
