Colour-pictorial cloth slightly flecked, a little unevenly sunned, and a little bumped at the extremities; endpapers lightly discoloured; overall a very good copy (internally excellent).

Provenance: Jane (Jeannie) Winifred Stirling (1881-1966), third daughter of Sir Edward Charles Stirling (1848-1919, eminent SA surgeon, scientist and politician), with a gift inscription on the front free endpaper ('To Jennie [sic] | With Love and warmest Wishes | from | M.A. Overbury'. Mary Anstie Overbury (c.1851-1926) was an artist and art teacher in Adelaide.
