Papered boards; Volume II slightly bumped at the foot of the rear joint, with a few light creases to the paper on the front and rear (a trifling publication flaw); minimal light foxing to the leading edge of Volume II; a near-fine set with the near-fine dustwrappers.

Volume I is a reprint of 'Ethnological Studies among the North-West-Central Queensland Aborigines' (1897); Volume II is a reprint of the separately-issued North Queensland Ethnography Bulletins 1-8 (1901 to 1908); Volume III is a reprint of Bulletins 9-18, first published in the 'Records of the Australian Museum', Sydney (1907 to 1910).
