Laminated pictorial card covers (the first three volumes) and laminated pictorial papered boards (Volume 4); bottom edge of the first volume lightly shelf-marked; cover of the second volume lightly rubbed; suffice to say, all four volumes were purchased new, then shelved and never used, so this is probably as fine a set as one is likely to find.
