Quarto, [vi] pages plus 55 plates (numbered between 5 and 93), with seven in colour, all printed recto only, each with a facing captioned leaf printed verso only) and a tipped-in detachable slip printed in red ('Prices shown in this list are subject to 50% discount').
Light-blue papered boards lettered in black (a screw-post binder) lightly worn, and now with minor expert conservation to the joints; a few tidy price changes in red pencil; a very good copy (internally in fine condition).
The front pastedown bears a small company label, number-stamped 243. A superior production, with the plates produced 'from photographs'. The contents are mainly numerous examples of kitchen cutlery, either with only the knives shown, or in canteens. There are eight plates devoted to pocket knives, penknives, pruning and farmers' knives, and hunting knives and daggers. Loosely inserted are some related pieces of ephemera, including a four-page supplementary catalogue of 'Acceptable Wedding Presents'. [A small quantity].
