Number 248 of 1000 copies of this facsimile edition of the famous/infamous Ern Malley issue (900 copies of the original edition were printed). The first 36 pages are devoted to his 'The Darkening Elliptic', with a lengthy introduction and two verse contributions at the end by Max Harris. The striking colour artwork on the front wrapper was the first magazine or book cover by Sidney Nolan.
