Gilt-lettered cloth lightly rubbed at the extremities and a little flecked along the top edges of the boards; top edge a little foxed; slight unobtrusive surface blemish to the pictorial front free endpaper; an excellent copy with the excellent dustwrapper (lightly sunned around the spine).
The dedication page is signed in purple ink by Ansel Adams. The lengthy sub-title is 'Selected photographs made from 1928 to 1968 in Arizona, California, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas and Utah with a statement by the photographer[,] and An Essay on the Land by Lawrence Clark Powell'.
