Gilt-decorated synthetic cloth a little marked, with slight surface loss to the bottom edge of one board; new endpapers; edges a little marked and discoloured, with a library stamp to the bottom one (and to the verso of the title page); minor signs of age and use; overall, a very good copy with the dustwrapper a little cockled, creased, and chipped.

Unquestionably rare, in spite of its relatively recent publication date. Trigellis-Smith 426 ('A short history, casualty list, Honours and awards').
