The plates are in uniformly fine condition.

1. An unattributed plate for W.H. Langham, president of the Board of Governors of the Public Library, Museum and Art Gallery of South Australia, and bibliographer of The Hassell Press. Peake 3088.

2. A plate by C.H. Crampton for J.K. (Jack) Moir, literary patron and one of the founders of the Bread and Cheese Club. Peake 3757.

3. An unattributed plate for 'The Bookshop of Margareta Webber ... Melbourne. Reference Section Copy'. Not in Peake.

4. A two-colour plate by Lex Marshall for Victor S. Hewett, production manager at the Specialty Press, Melbourne. Peake 2494.

5. A halftone reproduction of the bookplate by Harold Byrne for John Lane Mullins, a notable patron of the book arts, 'founding and presiding over the Australian Ex Libris Society and the Australian Limited Editions Society' ('Australian Dictionary of Biography'). Peake 3915.

6. A halftone reproduction of the bookplate by Henri van Raalte for John L. Preece of the eponymous bookshop. Peake 4366.
