A goup of nine bookplates for Pat Corrigan (one signed)
Relevant pencil annotations to the verso of two plates; in uniformly fine condition.
The bookplates are by John Coburn (Peake 1142), signed in pencil in the bottom margin; Brett Whiteley (two plates, Peake 1152 and 1153); Earle Backen (Peake 1137); Blake Lawry Twigden (Peake 1151, and two examples of 1150 printed on different paper stock); James Willem Willebrant (Peake 1154); and Pixie O'Harris (Peake 1148). Provenance: H.B. (Harry) Muir (1909-1992), bookseller, publisher and bookplate collector; by descent. Pat Corrigan's important collection of bookplates by Australian artists (now at the State Library of New South Wales) includes a large number of plates from Harry Muir's collection. [9 items].
