LINDSAY, Peter

A signed bookplate by Peter Lindsay, designed for himself

The small wood engraving (paper size 80 × 60 mm, with slight traces of earlier mounting on the verso) is signed in pencil on the bottom margin. Peake 3223. Peter Hammon Lindsay (1908-1998) was the only child of Percy Lindsay, and nephew of Norman, Lionel and Daryl.

Provenance: H.B. (Harry) Muir (1909-1992), bookseller, publisher and bookplate collector; by descent.
