Number 148 of 150 copies (initialled by the publisher) printed on hand-made paper (with the title-label stating 'Large paper'). James Kenneth Stephen (1859-1892) was first cousin to Virginia Woolf and tutor to Prince Albert Victor. He was institutionalised following a breakdown, and died shortly after the publication of this, his second collection of poems.
