Founded in 1857, the College 'quickly prospered to be one of the leading schools in the colony. For 55 years it provided high class tuition'. Not your average school history: this volume contains nearly 250 pages of biographies of over 700 old scholars and staff members, an extraordinary feat when one realises many of the entries are potted family histories.
