Black cloth (with the large magpie illustration and the dates in white on the front cover) a little marked and bumped; new endpapers; a long tear near the inner margin of the plate facing page 80 expertly sealed; slight loss to the top corner of the margin of the plate facing page 160; minor signs of use and age; a very good copy.
'This Volume is Number [329]' is printed on the last page, with the number inserted in ink; the upper limit of the edition is not stated, but we have seen a copy numbered 2456 on the market.
