Dragropes. Souvenir Number. [New South Wales and Queensland Field Artillery (cover subtitle)]

London, G. Harmsworth & Co., Printers, [circa 1917].

Quarto, 32 pages with numerous illustrations (from photographs).

Saddle-stapled two-colour pictorial wrappers foxed and a little creased and marked; small tears to the leading edges of most leaves (with a few early and indifferent paper repairs); minimal loss of text to silverfish to one leaf (pages 15-16); minor signs of age and use; overall, a presentable copy.

'This Booklet is intended as a Souvenir of the eventful, and, on the whole, happy time we spent together; both in our dear land, Australia, and during the voyage to England' (foreword). Provenance: 'O'Sullivan | Mosman' is written in pencil on the title page; the name 'Arthur Leo O'Sullivan' is highlighted in the list of the February Quota (see page 30), and he is presumably the soldier indicated with an X in the small group portrait on page 29.

Not in Dornbusch; not in Fielding and O'Neill.
