Red cloth with decorative lettering and the silhouette of a soldier blocked in white on the front cover; cloth a little marked and bumped, with the plain spine sunned (and with one section a little lighter than the rest); some surface loss to the white ink on the front cover (as often), here made good (in a manner of speaking) with white liquid paper; edges and last few leaves a little foxed; endpapers offset; mild signs of age and use; a very good copy.
