An attractive invitation card (later matted, framed and glazed, visible image size approximately 240 × 310 mm) featuring a large chromolithographic illustration of the Exhibition Building, with vignette illustrations of the capital cities of Australia; the artwork is by G.B.H. Austin. Exposure to light has resulted in uniform fading (in particular, of the manuscript insertion, and of any red to pink); overall, in excellent condition.
