Presentation copy, inscribed in ink on the recto of the frontispiece, 'To Mr W.S. Richardson, Secretary, Highway and Local Gov't, SA, with compliments'. Three signatures are followed by the signatory's official position, and are dated 7 February, 1964. Title page dated (6 September 1963) and inscribed in ink: 'Presented by the Sarawak Gov't Information Service'. With the 2 large colour folding maps at the rear (and the smaller folding map within).
