Grey papered boards lettered in silver on the spine; endpapers offset; edges foxed, with occasional light foxing elsewhere; small contemporary ownership signature on the half-title; overall, an excellent copy with the very good price-clipped dustwrapper a little chipped and marked, with the rear panel a little tanned, the head and foot of the spine reinforced on the verso with clear tape, and the top edge of the spine and a small section on either side very lightly shaved.
