The title page is signed by the author, the first person to win the Booker Prize twice (in 1983 and 1999); he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 2003. J.M. Coetzee's first published work of fiction, comprising two novellas, 'The Vietnam Project' and 'The Narrative of Jacobus Coetzee'.
