In a contemporary fine binding of half brown morocco and marbled boards, retaining the original wrappers (with the spine mounted on a guard at the rear); spine tooled in gilt; top edge gilt, others uncut; covers a trifle rubbed; a few leaves a little browned at the edges from the turn-ins; essentially a fine copy.
Number 701 of a total edition of 1700 copies, this being one of 1650 copies on 'vélin de Rives' paper (numbered 51-1700). The fifth title in the Le Théâtre d'Art series.
