Blue cloth with the printed paper title-label on the spine; all edges uncut; covers lightly flecked and mottled, with slight loss to silverfish to the cloth on the bottom edges and the top turn-ins; small patch of discolouration to the spine (where the price was clipped from the spine of the dustwrapper); offsetting to the endpapers; paper lightly toned; a very good copy (internally near-fine) with the dustwrapper sunned and price-clipped on the spine, lightly marked with minimal light surface loss to silverfish, with one tiny closed tear.
This collection includes some of Eliot's best-loved poems, including 'Prufrock', 'The Waste Land', and 'The Hollow Men'. 'The dedication to "The Waste Land" ['For Ezra Pound, il miglior fabbro'] (which appears as an autograph inscription in the copy of the first edition given by T.S. Eliot to Ezra Pound) is first printed here' (Gallup A8a, noting 1460 copies and a publication date of 23 November 1925).
