Blind-stamped papered boards with overlapping leading edges; edges uncut and unopened; spine a little sunned; an excellent copy in the slipcase (bowed and unevenly sunned) with an additional colour plate on the front panel (a little browned and foxed).
Number 256 of 950 copies on Pannekoek mould-made paper. This edition contains Milton's text and the music composed by Lawes for the original performance of the masque in 1634.
