Red cloth (lettered in gilt on the spine) lightly flecked and rubbed, and lightly bumped at the extremities; all edges uncut; top and leading edges and the front endpaper lightly foxed; minimal signs of age and use; an excellent copy with a small contemporary name-plate on the front pastedown.
The lengthy introduction (21 pages) is by Henry Stanley.
