Black papered boards lettered in gilt on the spine; extremities slightly bumped (the front bottom corner a little more so); top edge lightly foxed; plain white endpapers renewed; a very good copy (internally excellent) with the Barry Trengrove-designed dustwrapper slightly rubbed, with a few trifling tears and creases to the edges, and light tanning to the thin strip of the exposed top margin of the wide flaps. The front flap is creased along the leading margin, and both corners are clipped (the bottom one to remove the sterling price of 16/-, the blank top one probably for balance ...).
