Sextodecimo, lxiv, 590 pages with all 40 maps and 77 of the 78 plans called for (many are in colour, folding, and double-page) plus front endpaper advertisements and a rear endpaper map. The missing plan is the inner city of St Petersburg (facing page 103).
Limp red cloth, all edges marbled; spine a little sunned; covers a little rubbed and bumped at the extremities, with trifling wear to the head and tail of the spine; two ribbon bookmarks (one now detached but still present); short tears to the stub panel of the frontispiece map; a few minor signs of use and age; early ownership signature on the front pastedown and page 53; a very good copy.
The list of Baedeker's Guide Books printed on the front endpaper lists no editions later than 1914.
