Quarto, vi, 138 pages with 2 pages of illustrations plus 2 frontispiece plates (both in colour, with paraphrases of lengthy inscriptions printed on each verso), and an errata slip tipped in on the last page. Loosely inserted in the endpocket is a photolithographic facsimile of Crowley's manuscript of 'AL (Liber Legis). The Book of the Law' (65 loose leaves, printed rectos only, in a card folder printed in red and black).
Cream buckram lettered and decorated in gilt on the spine and front cover, all edges uncut; covers marked and flecked, with minor wear to the corners and the ends of the spine; endpapers a little offset; front and rear panels of the card folder a little tanned, with the leading edges slightly chipped (and expertly stabilised); a very good copy.
This edition has a cancel slip changing the last three lines of the title page from 'SEPTEMBER MCMXXXVI E.V. | Issued by the O.T.O. | BM/JPKH LONDON, W.C. 1'.
