'Progradior' was the 'magical name' of Frank Bennett (1868-1930), a disciple of Aleister Crowley's, who migrated to Australia in 1911. The '"Magical Record" chronicled the visionary and magical experiences he underwent during an intense retreat ... which he undertook at the Crowley's Abbey of Thelema in Cefalu in 1921'. It is reprinted here 'with Crowley's added comments, along with several miscellaneous writings by Bennett'. A large 'Weiser Antiquarian Books' card signed by the editor is mounted on the half-title.
