Number 4 in the 'Ocean Liners of the Past' series of reprints of Souvenir Numbers from 'The Shipbuilder and Marine Engine-Builder'. In addition to the facsimile contents, Leslie Reade provides an introduction and an eight-page epilogue, taking the career of the 'Empress of Britain' from the 1930s to her tragic loss in 1940, sunk by German bombers in the Atlantic in October that year.
