Octavo, 264 pages with floor plans of the exhibition halls and numerous advertisements (some with illustrations) plus colour-pictorial advertisements on the covers.

Colour-pictorial wrappers slightly creased and chipped on two corners, a little chipped on the spine, and showing mild signs of handling (including a later price in ballpoint pen on the front cover); light tidemark to the top margin of the first 25 leaves and the bottom margin of the first few leaves, with tidemarks on the title leaf extending slightly into the printed area; a few mild signs of use and age, but overall a very decent copy. The front cover artwork is by John Goodchild.

About 60 pages are devoted to the lists of entrants in the fine and applied arts sections. Among the 250 or more entries in the various sections on photography, the name C.P. Mountford appears ten times. Interestingly, all of his prints carry titles and retail prices. More interestingly still, this item is not in Trove.
