A signed portrait photograph of Don Bradman smartly attired in a three-piece business suit

Although produced in the mid-1990s, this photograph was hand-printed from a negative depicting Bradman in the later 1940s. We have located online an image of him with his fellow-captain Lindsay Hassett before his testimonial match in Melbourne in December 1948, wearing what appears to be the same suit. The sepia-toned gelatin silver photograph (visible image size 145 × 93 mm) is personally signed in ink on the image by Sir Donald Bradman (1908-2001). It is in fine condition, secured with archival tape behind a gilt-ruled dark green window mount, ready for framing.
